Archie & Edith
In homage to one of classic TV’s most argumentative couples, serve Archies and Ediths. Though the blue Archies are meant for the men and the pink Ediths are for the ladies, we always encourage cross-drinking!

For One DrinkARCHIE1 ounce gin 1/2 ounce Cointreau 1/2 ounce Rose’s Sweetened Lime Juice 1/2 ounce blue curaçao EDITH 3/4 ounce Calvados 1/4 ounce fresh lemon juice 1/4 ounce fresh lime juice 3/4 teaspoon maraschino cherry juice (spooned off the top of the jar of cherries)* 1/4 teaspoon simple syrup 1 ounce chilled sparkling apple cider |
ARCHIE Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into an ice-filled glass. EDITH Shake all the ingredients except the sparkling cider with ice and strain into an ice-filled glass. Add the cider and stir. *You can use the juice that comes with the cherries, but it’s more economical to buy the juice without the cherries if your supermarket carries it. |
